Really got saunters flavor, strong honey and delicate mineral taste, honey hive. Developed well. Long lasting — 4 years ago
Hazelnut honey and pear nose with just the right amount of fine bubbles finishing with a lemon curd (mouth watering) from mid to finish. Lovely! Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier Mostly 2016 vintage. Bottled 7/26/2017. Disgorged January 2019. Dosage 5-6 gr/L. Lot Sle16CT MS — 4 years ago
You immediately smell fresh cut cold Green Apple when first poured and nosed. Has it warms smell transitions to raw honey like in hive combs, sweet but not sugary and the hint of outdoors funk! The body of the fluid is luxurious in mouth.
In tasting this wine is subtle throughout = balanced ....Green Apple, honeydew melon, lemon acidity that flattens out with a warming and bitterness of raw asparagus.
Truly an adventure worth trying on bright sunny day. Enjoyed with homemade cod cakes an d garden salad 🙌🏼🍷 — 5 years ago
This is a tremendously good Vouvray from the Pinon estate. Almost definitely the finest young example of their wine I’ve tried. Impressive especially given the heat of the vintage, is the acid and mineral backbone on top of which all those ripe and luxurious Chenin hallmarks hang. Electric apricot and wildflower honey. Sweetness held in check more than any of the other Pinon cuvees. Acid and sugar in perfect balance. Just goes on and on on the finish. Gets an extra point for being a ridiculous value at $26. — 2 years ago
This grows on you. At first there is a aged honey or beeswax character in the nose and at the finish. The second day it’s more balanced, with a long mouthwatering finish. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier mostly 2016 vintage Bottled July 26, 2017. Disgorged September 2019 dosage 4-5 g/L. TBL — 3 years ago
I’m losing my shit right now. This is amazing. Apricot jam, honey, wet wool, bee hive, lavender stalks, succulent plums. Had before, more evident now. Wow. — 4 years ago
Stunning! Combine one of Austria’s greatest vineyards, a great winemaker, and an exceptional vintage, you get a wine to remember. Aromas of white, peach, chamomile, and tea. The palate is creamy and full-bodied with notes of honey. The acidity brings out the very concentrated flavors in a luscious way. The Kellerberg is less mineral-driven than other vineyards, but the fruit, concentration, and balance are impeccable here. Superb! 2015 vintage on May 26, 2019 — 5 years ago

On the nose honeycomb, apple pie, and a hint of pineapple. Flavors of honey drizzled pound cake, and roasted pineapple, and creme Brule. Finish is medium. I don't think this will gain much as it ages, but should hang on for several years.
