Fairly transparent for Barbera and light in alcohol at 13.5%. Lovely bright nose, ripe of red cherry with a floral twist. On the palate it tastes quite evolved with a secondary profile that is very appealing. Could almost pass for a barolo. Probably best Barbera I’ve tried and better than the Burlotto Aves and Vietti Scarrone tried alongside. — 13 days ago
After dinner drink at Wyno x Bodega. Delicious, not too sweet, dark and complex. — a month ago
peppery dynamic wine- needs to breathe — 16 days ago
This is a massive wine. Lots of sweet humus and wet earth, rich berry ooze, and sandalwood. Large bodied, with peppery alcoholic heat peaking through, but good acidity nonetheless. It’s 15%, and if it were a degree less, it would’ve been outstanding. As is, it was a fine accompaniment to a rich pasta sauce and braised pork braccioles. — 18 days ago
Same notes as before, and I still love it. Keep going back to it. So unique.
