Lonesome Springs Ranch Rosé 2018

Yakima Valley, 50/50 Grenache Mourvèdre. 240 cases made by small urban winery in Seattle. Light salmon pink with golden tinge, rather pretty. Excellent clarity. Slight sulfite, floral notes in nose, maybe citrus peel and cherry. Cherry and stone fruit (peach-nectarine) flavors, slight white pepper on finish. Dry, good acid as well as length of fruit flavors. Well made, minimal tannins here, at least on initial pour. A winner — 12 days ago

Trilogy Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2010

This wine would have been better 3 years ago. The flavors are still good but I am guessing they might have been better. Long finish. — 11 days ago

Excellent Chardonnay. It is from Oregon- not a place I usually pick Chardonnay from. Lots of oak and fruit. Had with baked chicken. — 7 days ago

Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Slightly cloudy appearance, dull not bright. Discovered tiny pieces of solid matter in the glass so seems unfined and unfiltered. Definitely better uncorked than Coravinned, needs to breath a little. With Coravin there’s some reductive notes and vegetable notes. Medium(-) aromas that remind me of stems and fermentation (tank sample) definitely som stems in the ferment. Warm alcohol on the nose and on the palate. Still, good balance between the intensity and the richness of ripe red fruit and the acidity. A little too much alcohol sensation for me. #eolaamityhills #oregon #oregonwine #pinotnoir — 16 days ago

Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Unexpectedly great. One of the best Sauv Blancs I’ve had. All the markers for CB, in a good way. — 11 days ago
