Took a bit of a gamble given the rep for being very long lived. Opened t-8 hours and decanted 3+ hours. Still quite closed. You can get a sense of the depth of the fruit on the nose but overall it is veiled. The tannins are serious. Would never have guessed Beaujolais- one to let rest for many years. — 7 days ago

I was a little concerned I let it go too far in bottle on its own, but with pepperoni pizza and rigatoni bolognase and a little time to air out, it was very nice. I think one of the few Beaujolais wines that can spend more time in bottle reliably. — 2 months ago

Savory on the nose with a little brett, a little leather, and raspberry fruit, carrying forward on the palate where the leather becomes more prominent but with plenty of fruit. Holding up extremely well. — 3 days ago
