Nose has fresh lemon pith, sage, blackcurrant blossoms, lime peel, freshly mown field and a warm pile of granite rocks.
Palate has dried strawberry, dried red currant (really, wth is this doing in here?), lime wedge, pineapple core, green melon rind and granite chips.
Every day of the week I will tell you that I should really drink more of the Scheurebe in our collection, but I have to practice restraint. Time is always a benefit, this bottle has evolved, shedding some of its youthful acidity but still kicking ass. Laser focused, very good. — 5 months ago
Electric! Wow what acid. Insane purity. Floral like nothing else. Kumquat, white flowers, tree bark, crushed rocks, mulch, lime zest, candied lemons, so complex, it’s crazy. Huge acid, huge depth, huge minerals, huge extract, so elegant, confectionary, pure, clean. So so so so good. Perfect, fruit, mineral, everything. — 2 months ago
What a nose. Smells like a beautiful spring day after a fresh rain. Herbs. Airy mineral. So fragrant of so many “non fruit” scents it’s dizzying. Apricot skin. Incredible palate. So dense, so impactful, with huge dry extract and purity. Amazing fruit but like sucking on peach and apricot pits. It’s fruit and also pit flavors. So elegant. No hard edges and just so incredibly rocky and savory. Structure for days. Wow. This is incredible. — 5 months ago

Buttery pear to start, lemon zest with some tart acidity to finish — 3 months ago
Vintage 2018 | painful, I recommended this wine. Now tasted blind I did not recognize it... I thought it to be a classy Burgundy from twice or three time the price. This spätburgunder is a real treat. Smell: spices, a barnyard. Very nice indeed. Comforting taste with good balance. — 4 months ago
A genius Klingelberger. What a nose. So floral. Flower shop levels. Little shop of insane dry Riesling. Gorgeous Mosel like fruit. Smells ripe and sweet but also bone dry. Green apples. Pear. Apricot. So vivid and detailed. Just wonderful. Lime blossom, sweet lime. Endless aromas. Fresh field level 10. But also rock quarry. Staggering young Klingelberger aromas. Palate is epic like a Norwegian Viking documentary epic. Dense, structured, deep man is this deep with just stunning purity and freshness. So vivid and so detailed. This is god level balance. So long. Never ends. The purity of this wine is just incredible. Amazing finesse and elegance and screamingly mineral and very very complex on the finish. This is a staggering young Klingelberger. 9.7. Yup. Just genius. Amazing concentration and depth. Really I can’t get over how good this is. — 5 months ago
