Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County

Dry Creek Vineyard

Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Dry Creek Vineyard, with more more than 50 years of history and tradition in Dry Creek Valley, is one of Northern California’s most consistent and excellent producers of Sauvignon Blanc. This is the unmasked version, and there is a slightly richer, very lightly packed version called FumêBlanc. Crisp pear, green apple, yellow apple, grapefruit, gooseberry, passion fruit… this wine is a summary of all the main characteristics of the grape. Refreshing acidity, beautiful balance and bargain priced - just terrific — 4 days ago

A delicious, easy-drinking, single-varietal selection if you are looking for an alternative to Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon. What a beautifully crafted wine. Cheers🍷 — 19 days ago

Jones Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2012

This was great. Smokey and deep. Dark fruit, cedar, and tobacco. After a Barolo and a poor Napa Cab this was great! — 6 days ago

MacRostie Winery & Vineyards

Pinot Noir Rosé 2021

Beautiful color of light pink with a peachy hue.

On the nose raspberries, sweet strawberries, limes, grapefruits, spices, light herbs and light sea salt.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with strawberries, green apples, grapefruits, herbs, spices, earth, light vegetables and black pepper.

Tangy finish with spices and bitter almonds.

This is an easy drinking Rosé from Sonoma Coast. A nice summer wine.

Fruity on the nose and earthier on the palate. Light and engaging. Crisp and refreshing.

Feels like a French Rosé with a touch of new world.

Better after 20 minutes of airtime, and will pair nicely with food. I had it all by itself by the beach.

13.3% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

Bevan Cellars

Dry Stack Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Slightly hazy (unfined and unfiltered) straw gold. Inviting nose and medium bodied palate of underripe quince, citrus rind, and balsam with a bit of extra "texture" (light tannin?) from the process. Medium acidity shows from entry to lengthy, lemony finish. Russell Bevan does it again. A luscious California SB treated like it's baby boy, CS, yields a white wine that's ready for fuller fare like roasted pork or fowl, swordfish or shark, or a melange of firm roots and greens. Not your mother's SB. Drink now through 2025. — 19 days ago
