Last night I opened the 2015 Baer Star Merlot Stillwater Creek Vineyard Columbia Valley. A blend of 87% Merlot and 13% Cabernet Franc.
On the nose there is black cherry, cherry, blackberry, plum, violet, chocolate, allspice and black pepper.
On the palate there is cherry, black cherry, blackberry, red currant, licorice, espresso, and chocolate.
This wine is medium to full bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and medium to + acidity with medium soft fine tannins that leads into a long black fruit finish. The weekend is fat approaching again and lets look forward to having a great weekend. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 2 days ago
Pretty good red blend. It’s definitely velvety and smooth. Pairs well with lots of things 🍷 — a day ago
Dry, yet smooth with hints of cherries and berries. Really tasty and right up my alley. — 3 days ago
Astro Lab Brewer, Silver Spring MD. Hazy IPA with Mosaic, Columbus and Citra hops. 7.1%
Medium gold, big, slightly rocky head that is quite persistent. Knock-out nose which to me reads as pine resin/juniper berry. Very well balanced with a just-so textural play between hop bitterness and malty sweetness. — 19 days ago
Raspberry jam but very tart with some raw cocoa. Insane amount of flavor packed into this one. — 11 days ago

This was an unexpected delight! Nose of blueberry, smoke, and cherry. Notes of meat, black cherry, and tobacco. Really enjoyed this one! — 11 hours ago
Another delicious bottle. Even after being open a few days it's drinking smooth and full bodied with no off flavors or smells. I think we will have to go back and get a case of this. — 10 days ago
New addition to the cabinet, first Dalmore. On the nose very bizarre, albeit tantalizing notes of clove, star anise, and candied orange peel. On the palate very smooth yet expressive notes of roasted coffee and espresso-dark chocolate nibs. Lovely scotch. — 6 days ago
