2020 vintage.
A field blend of Garganega, Trebbiano Toscana, Manzoni, Tocai Friulano , Cortese, Chardonnay, Riesling Italico, and Malvasia.
Custoza is in the hills of Lake Garda. Magro vineyard is small and 30 plus years old. White spring flowers, citrus and ginger on the nose. Medium bodied and off-dry with an underlying acidity. Yellow stone fruits with apple, pear and ripe persimmon.
This wine paired well with Spaghetti alla Vongole with local clams.

Really lovely blend from top producer in custoza. A lot of innovation going on here with owner hiring 4 consultants. He freezes the Fernanda grape prior to fermentation to maximize the aromatics. Very good and recommended. — 4 years ago
