Coravin Inc

Jacuzzi Family Vineyard

Tracy Hills Sagrantino 2013

Deep rustic aroma of cooked blueberry/plum and bouquet of vanilla/oak/subtle spice on the nose (date I say graham cracker?), abundant berries and balanced tannin/acidity on the palate with a lingering flavor that leaves you smiling and eager for more. Absolutely love this wine. First use of my coravin and excited to compare next time I open a fresh bottle. — 7 days ago

Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Slightly cloudy appearance, dull not bright. Discovered tiny pieces of solid matter in the glass so seems unfined and unfiltered. Definitely better uncorked than Coravinned, needs to breath a little. With Coravin there’s some reductive notes and vegetable notes. Medium(-) aromas that remind me of stems and fermentation (tank sample) definitely som stems in the ferment. Warm alcohol on the nose and on the palate. Still, good balance between the intensity and the richness of ripe red fruit and the acidity. A little too much alcohol sensation for me. #eolaamityhills #oregon #oregonwine #pinotnoir — 2 months ago

Saffredi Maremma Toscana Super Tuscan Blend 2013

Having it on Coravin for many weeks now and the final two glasses finally got rid of the (for me disturbing) acids.
will not touch other bottles for 5 years.

Summit Selection Napa Valley Petite Sirah 2015

Deep purple in color with a nose of blackberries and earth. Very well balanced wine. I was waiting for one aspect to take over, but it stayed true throughout the finish. Full-bodied with nice fruit, acidity, and tannin. I tasted off the Coravin right out of the bottle, but this one would probably open up a good bit more with a decant. Very nice wine! — 12 days ago

Hayne Vineyard Petite Syrah 2018

Dark purple color but maybe a twinge lighter in color than the Pesenti. Sugar plums, blueberries, and milk chocolate on the nose. Massive tannins and tons of fruit, this wine is packed with flavor. Full-bodied it coats the mouth and the finish is quite long. Amazing wine, this one can stand the test of time, and probably should. Used the Coravin on this for a small taste. Will lay it down in the cellar for a bit along with its twin. — 12 days ago

Made by Robert Foley, I kept it cold all this time- and even after Coravin treatment this drank tonight as fresh as daisies.

Cascade Cliffs

Columbia Valley Barbera

The 2018 Barbera is nice and fruity. Cascade Cliffs has an abundance of Barberas to choose from (never an over-abundance😂). Just did a Coravin tasting of every Barbera I own, and the 2018 Blood Red Barbera from Horse Heaven Hills topped my palette, followed by the 2016 Horse Heaven Hills Barberas. — 3 months ago
