Château Moine Lalande

Château Siaurac

Lalande de Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

At 14.5% a bit bigger than I tend to drink. By day 2/3 I was happier with the balance. Good concentration. Definitely the oak monster lurks — 6 days ago

Château Grand Ormeau

Lalande de Pomerol Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2012

2012 Excellent year. 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet for a great balance. — 4 days ago

Bourgogne Rouge Pinot Noir 2017

Although often decent - I found that little red village Burgundies possess the unique elements of their superstar siblings. This one did - albeit in subtle hints, like the silent yet essential intro to a full blown concerto. This was very very good, yet most of all it made me long for a “normal” New Year’s Eve. — a month ago

Lalande de Pomerol Merlot Blend 2016

A bit too extracted and “green”, good wine but not exactly my thing — 12 days ago

Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2005

2005. Opened with a strongly aged nose and felt a little beyond it years on first approach but after a few hrs in the decanter it balanced out and showed us some velvet and silk. Thank you Mounir! — 12 hours ago

Château de Chambrun

Lalande de Pomerol Merlot Cabernet Franc 2010

This was absolutely singing..decanted 40 mins or so...plush plum, blueberry, vanilla baking spices, somewhat savory...could be mistaken for new world...but such a super silky wine to drink — 5 days ago

Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande

Réserve de la Comtesse Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2005

Red-fruited, a gentle and quickly dissipating nose of berry liqueur and sloe gin, just a touch of old leather bound book. Some poached cranberry and a little dried powdered orange peel. A hint of smoke and wood. Salty finish with some phenolic bitterness. Nice... seems just on the other side of its peak. — 9 hours ago
