Built to be generous and full, this has ample mouthfeel and texture. Acid yields a little bit due to the fat nature. Profile is a beautiful honeysuckle and apricot medley. Wonderful with our Panko chicken and Rich curried sweet potato fries. Holds up nicely to garlic as well.! a great budget Viognier at 30$ — 3 months ago

Interesting… A rich and abundant vintage that produces a lean and austere PM - on purpose. This is Michael Shaps! An extremely food, friendly sophisticated PM :) — 3 months ago
What a joy it is to collect and sample the emerging character profile of Virginia CS. What a fine example from a solid microsite in Afton. — 4 months ago

Fourth of July wine. Medium-full bodied with well balanced tannins and acidity. Leather, blackberry, baking spices, vanilla, and apricot notes. Paired extremely well with smoked BBQ. — 3 years ago
2017 was a special vintage… adequate heat, but isolated, micro climate coolness at night. This allowed for some properties to produce an acceptable standalone Cabernet Sauvignon. this build was not a reserve, but it still had balance and utility. I suspect there was a bit of PV blended in for added structure/tannin. Nevertheless, the overall complete product was delightful and paired wonderfully with dinner. (burgers.!!) — 3 months ago
