Strawberries, roses, and chalk on the palate. Interesting. — 21 days ago

3B Bairrada Rosé Espumante Baga

The label would normally be off putting to me, but I’m always interested in a female vintner, especially when she is the daughter of a famous Portuguese maker. What a revelation-drinks more like a sparkling Savoie or alpine rose. Close to the bone dry. Lovely pink color. Fine mousse. I love that label now…. — 6 months ago

Drink Me Nat Cool Vinho Branco White Blend

Lightly fizzy and opaque, it tastes like a dry cider with a hint of sweetness. I quite like it. — 8 months ago

Great structure but accessible now, dark earthy fruit profile with a bit of game, leather and smoke — 4 months ago

Vinhas Velhas Bairrada Vinho Branco 1991

Interesting wine to end a night at Estella. A lil advanced but balance with wild acid and a long gorgeous finish. Would like to expire this more. — 8 months ago

Vinha Pan Bairrada Baga 2013

The bottle I tried a year ago must have been slightly off, because this time it’s delicious. More fruit-forward than I remembered. Soft cherry with delightful, delicate length. Nicely aged after a decade, not sour at all. Wine tasting is influenced by so many factors - almost never consistent for me. — 7 months ago

Frei João Bairrada Baga Blend

While I have great respect and appreciation for wines like these I simply don’t have the palate for them.

Iodine, beef blood, smoky BBQ. I’m sure this is lights out with a dry aged ribeye but a 2oz. pour is enough for me. Very reminiscent of the 1969 Colares I had a few months back. Properly stored.

Nice, I've also had this '85, but not the Reserva. Fun stuff.

@Severn Goodwin good catch, I adjusted the identified wine. About to try it with flank stank and charred scallions. Cheers!
