Ashes & Diamonds...blast from the past! Retro style. Son of Darioush is the owner here. Open until 7PM...definitely aiming towards us Millennials. This was their most left bank Bordeaux-style wine. Loads of red & black underripe fruit with mushroom, truffle oil, plum, and cigar smoke. Smooth yet structured. All of their wines are definitely a throw back to a different era.

I visited this vineyard of the son of a good friend of mine and the did a tasting and they blew me away. The most amazing cab for its price that I’ve ever had.

Leathery mocha nose w/hints of eucalyptus & cedar followed by rich palate of blackberry jam, roasted mushrooms. Pretty developed for a 2015, surprised by length and finely sifted tannins. Don’t expect to be as big as most oakville cabs but damn SOLID! Fantastic wine for price!!!
