One of the best 2020 GS blends from Paso tasted so far; also one of the best I’ve tasted from this winemaker. Fantastic fruit flavors, fine textured tannin, and seamless mid-palate. It’s in a great spot right now but suspect those tannins will resolve even more with added complexity developing over the next 5-10 years — a month ago
Love the Counoise element and this is definitely a lighter bodied wine relative to the Saxum range. Alcohol is hot and fruit expression isn’t quite as refined as I would expect from this producer. Still young though so curious to see how it will develop. — a month ago
It’s a big boy - alcohol is slightly overblown but otherwise very well made and surprisingly deft. — 17 days ago
Solid performance at an accessible price point within the category. This is a powerful expression of GC with grippy tannin that will settle down in the decanter. Excellent balance of primaries and secondaries with tertiaries starting to emerge. Great to drink now with some air or prime to age for another decade plus. — a month ago
Fantastic freshness. Primaries are still singing, not too much secondary expression but interesting tertiaries. Slight funk . — a month ago
Sublime. CA Chenin doesn’t get much better than this! — 21 days ago

Fantastic single variety expression of California Mourvèdre. Amazing to see it showing so well a decade on. A must try. — a month ago
3rd and final bottle - previous two were incredible over the last 3-4 years but it’s now starting to show signs of oxidation and in a state of decline. Still great but drink now. — a month ago

Stunner. Amazingly well integrated and light on its feet. Drink now. — 17 days ago
