12' Argot Steiner vineyard Syrah. 31 months in new French oak. Carmel apple, spices, cranberries, Black licorice . Decanting this wine is a must. The acidity calms down & the fruit appears. A BEAST of a wine...pairing with Lamb chops/BEEF! The finish seems to go on forever. Very enjoyable Syrah. Justin is making some pretty damn good wines.

Not as expressive as it was 18 or so months ago. Still very good, but few of the previous characteristics are there. May have to grab a few ‘16’s to see where they are.

Oct 29th, 2018Another winner from @Justin Harmon and Argot. Just the way a Syrah should be....bacon fat with a spicy/peppery finish. Highly recommend!
